Creating Economic Opportunity through Job Creation

Tulsa works to partner with businesses that will build a stronger, more equitable economy within the city. One such project is the Peoria-Mohawk Business Park — a joint effort between the City of Tulsa and the George Kaiser Family Foundation to bring manufacturing businesses employers with quality job opportunities to the 36th Street North Corridor. This light to medium industrial park was recognized by the Site Selector’s Guild as its 2023 “Projects with a Purpose” award.

Supported by a $10M site-readiness incentive from the City of Tulsa, improved highway connections to US-75 and SH-11, and a nearby career-tech training campus, the business park is being quickly tenanted. The first entrant to the site, Muncie Power Products, has already undergone its second round of planned expansions based on the success of its location and recruiting strategies. Additional announcement are expected in 2023. More information on the park, including full due-diligence reports, can be found on the Peoria-Mohawk Business Park website.
