Can you provide an overview of your role at PartnerTulsa and the key projects you support?
In my current role, I am identifying and coordinating real estate acquisitions and developments within Partner Tulsa. I also am highly involved with our incentives programs, particularly our TIF and AHTF projects.
What do you enjoy most about your role, and what excites you about the future of Tulsa?
One of my favorite aspects of my role is meeting with developers and learning about their plans and dreams for our community. I keep a running list of upcoming projects, and looking at that list reminds me that, even in uncertain times, there are so many people who are optimistically looking forward to the future. I especially love helping developers identify and connect to all kinds of resources. I love the synergy that public/private partnerships and collaboration create in addressing housing, economic development, and community building in Tulsa.
What upcoming projects or initiatives are you most excited about, and how do you see them impacting the community?
I am so excited about the ‘all-in’ feeling among the developers, philanthropic foundations, community organizations, City administration, non-profits, and other stakeholders in addressing our housing situation. I love that conversations in this space are not just about housing, but about building and strengthening neighborhoods and communities. I feel honored to associate with such passionate and committed individuals.
What’s a fun or unexpected fact about yourself that people might like to know?
In some alternate universe, I am a James Bond- type superspy. I always thought that looked so glamorous and exciting!
