1.) Can you share a bit about your professional journey and what ultimately led you here?

My professional journey has been shaped by roles in project management, operations, and community-focused real estate development. I’ve worked across nonprofit, private, and quasi-public environments, helping organizations strengthen internal operations while advancing long-term community goals. Ultimately, PartnerTulsa stood out because of its ability to connect entrepreneurship, economic development, and real impact in Tulsa. The opportunity to support local businesses while contributing to the city’s growth aligned perfectly with both my experience and my personal mission.

2.) Which ongoing or upcoming project are you most excited to dive into, and why?

I’m especially excited about projects that support small business owners as they move from concept to sustainability—whether that’s through access to capital, technical assistance, or strategic planning. Helping entrepreneurs navigate systems, remove barriers, and position their businesses for long-term success is where I feel I can add the most value, and those efforts directly strengthen Tulsa’s broader economic ecosystem.

3.) What motivates your work in community and economic development?

I’m motivated by the idea that strong communities are built when people have access to opportunity, ownership, and stability. Economic development, when done thoughtfully, creates pathways for individuals and families to build wealth while also strengthening neighborhoods. Being part of that process—especially in ways that are practical, measurable, and people-centered—is deeply meaningful to me.

4.) What inspires your optimism about Tulsa’s future? And what would you say to someone considering making Tulsa their home or place to do business?

Tulsa’s optimism comes from its people and its momentum. There’s a growing culture of collaboration across sectors, paired with a willingness to invest in both innovation and legacy communities. To someone considering Tulsa, I’d say this is a city where ideas can move quickly, relationships matter, and there’s real room to build something lasting—whether that’s a business, a career, or a life.

5.) What’s your favorite local spot in Tulsa, whether it’s for food, fun, or just a place that feels like home?

One of my favorite things about Tulsa is that different places resonate at different times. Tisdale’s Cigar Lounge on Greenwood and other downtown areas stand out to me—not just for food or events, but for their history, energy, and sense of purpose. They remind me why the work we do matters and why Tulsa continues to feel like home.
