The Stories That Inspire Us
At PartnerTulsa, we’re working to build an economy where every Tulsan has the opportunity to thrive. One of the most powerful tools helping us get there is the Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF). The AHTF provides loans and grants that expand affordable housing, support homebuyers, incentivize landlords, and keep families safely housed. This month, we awarded three new rental assistance grants to partners working on the front lines of housing security. These dollars go directly toward helping Tulsans stay in their homes, preventing eviction, reducing homelessness and giving families the stability they need to move forward. One of our grant recipients, [TAG] Restore Hope Ministries, has been Tulsa County’s primary provider of rental assistance for more than 30 years. Their team offers emergency rental support paired with individualized case management to help families regain stability after a financial crisis. Right now, Restore Hope has: 101 individuals in intake 151 applications being reviewed Capacity to assist at least 92 households through this award Programs like the AHTF, and the ongoing work of partners like Restore Hope, advance Tulsa’s Affordable Housing Strategy and support long-term economic sustainability for our city.
